Throughout his career, Mamoun has established a proven track record of success in start-up, growth, and turnaround endeavors, demonstrating a success rate of 98% in project delivery. His achievements include enabling business to grow its revenue at 55% by end of 2022, an annual reduction of 10% in technology operational costs, and a Mobile App Net Promoter Score (NPS) of 4.8/5. Recognized as one of the top 20 CIOs in the region, Mamoun has played a pivotal role in the planning, implementation, and management of initiatives, serving millions of customers and thousands of business users.

Till July 2023 Mamoun served as an Executive Vice President – GCIO and Technology Advisor at Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank (ADIB), he has been instrumental in driving digital transformation and innovation through strategic enterprise technology and information systems direction. Under his leadership, ADIB has achieved significant milestones, such as launching multiple digital products and services, transforming customer onboarding journeys, migrating the Big Data Platform to the cloud, building wealth management services platforms, and leveraging AI in business processes and launching API portal to enable the bank to use BaaS.
With a strong focus on digital banking, Mamoun has pioneered initiatives such as the first Metaverse Branch concept in the region and the introduction of Conversational AI to help the business to sell more products. He has also led the cloud adoption process, building security measures, developing API Services, and establishing strategic partnerships with so many Fintechs.
Before ADIB, Mamoun held senior positions at reputable and global organizations, including Grindlays Bank, ANZ Bank, Standard Chartered Bank, Citi Bank and Commercial Bank, also worked at the customer side with STS Technology solutions provider.
He excels in leading and working in highly matrixed global environments, promoting collaboration, creativity, and continuous learning.
